Our squad recently met up with three other squads in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Four squads that are in different months of their race. Two in month 4, one in month 7, and one in month 9.
It was a few days of relaxation and empowering one another. We met so many knew friends and were able to have fun but also build on another up in their journey with the race.
We had the opportunity to split into groups, where we wanted to grow in or felt God calling us to that group. Those groups included Storytelling, Hospitality, Evangelism, Worship, and Intercession. I stepped into boldness and obedience to God and joined the worship group (future post coming soon, on that experience. Hopefully…) I helped lead worship one morning and absolutely loved it.
The other groups planned times for prayer, evangelism, fun games. Yes, I ate grasshoppers, crickets, fish jerky, and dried pork. Yum. Don’t worry my team won!
