Dear Family and Friends,
God has been doing some amazing things in my life and I hope yours as well! For almost three years, I have been serving Him as a Director of Christian Education in the small rural town in Central Illinois. Recently God has opened my eyes to a call He has placed on my heart for a long time, overseas missions. When I was a little girl, I had a dream that I was in Africa, teaching and playing with the kids there. It was something I never forgot. When I was a college, a dear friend randomly told me about The World Race. Recently, I couldn’t get the World Race off my mind. I found myself reading every blog and watching every video about it. I knew that God was calling me to pursue this dream and was saying “Go”.
I am proud to announce I have been accepted to the January 2018 route. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries through the organization Adventures in Missions. Through the World Race my team and I will partner with local churches and ministries in each country to share the Gospel, work in orphanages, plant churches, minister to those affected by human trafficking, and restore the hope of the Father’s love to many. The countries that we will be traveling to are: Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.
There will be many challenges with this journey and I cannot continue it without your support because you are important to me. There are a few ways that you can help me. The first is PRAYER. Please pray that God would prepare my heart and those of my team for a life of servanthood. This trip with affect us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Please pray that the countries that we travel to will come to know God and grow in their faith.
Another way you can help me, is FINANCIALLY. Please prayerfully consider joining me on my journey. Partner with me, so that I may follow God’s call. The cost for the trip is $17,700 which includes the cost of food, travel, lodging, medical insurance, and training camp. Also, I will be responsible for purchasing gear such as a tent, backpack, sleeping bag and other necessities.
