(Wrote this blog, week 2 of month 1)

*Video at bottom of blog

If you are a future world racer and are reading this blog, PLEASE STOP. Yes please stop reading this. Did you stop yet? Before my race, I read tons of packing blogs and watched all the videos. I will tell you now. They contradict each other. Someone will say pack a tent, others will say don’t. You will get frustrated. You will be confused. So please stop reading. When you’re packing, it is what you want to pack. Don’t pack something because someone says it’s good to have. You will not use it. For example, someone suggests packing a yoga mat because you think you will pick up the hobby. You most likely won’t. This is what I did, after stressing: Before packing, pray about it. Ask God for advice on what to pack. Take a deep breath. Lay out everything you want to pack. Then go through the pile, cut it in half. Then step away for a day or a few hours. Then go through the pile again, and keep the necessities. And don’t pack alone. Ask your teammates for help, or ask what they are packing so you don’t pack the same things, like the game uno. Just remember, don’t stress.

I hope you’re not reading this anymore. And if you are. I warned you.

I’m sure there are somethings that I forgot to write down. I will add when I think of them.

Stay tuned for a future post on things I found useful, things I dropped etc! Also a video about things you can buy in country that you didn’t think you could find, like razors!
