Dear Younger Me,
If only you knew. If only you knew there is a whole world full of adventure waiting for you. The God you know is pursuing you. He is calling you to a relationship with Him. He is calling you to what He has planned for you. Every question, every doubt, every worry about your future and current career, everything is taken care off. Everything has a purpose, it is all part of God’s divine plan for you. Every moment brings you closer to who your meant to be. Your future is going to be filled with many highs and lows. Whatever happens, God’s got it.
There are people in your life who are going to be there and then gone, but there are some that will be by your side forever. Cherish those friendships and time with them. Pursue them.
Don’t be afraid to say yes to things that scare you. Life isn’t mean to be lived in your comfort zone. Don’t live life with regrets. God is calling you to become uncomfortable to make others comfortable. He has blessed you with an incredible servant heart, so what are you going to do about it?
You need to start seeking joy in all situations. The cup is always half full. A dear friend will tell you that someday. Life will get hard and a negative attitude will make it worse. Seek the joy.
You will someday impact loves of people around the world. Pursue your dreams. Chase them, just make sure they are God’s dreams as well.
You may enjoy living on your own and being independent. Don’t get too comfortable. God’s gonna place you in a community of people that your going to do life with 24/7. You’re gonna hate it, but your also gonna love it (maybe…). People will annoy you, they will get under your skin, you will cry yourself to sleep because your frustrated, you will want to isolate yourself, don’t. Don’t run away—emotionally or physically. Run to God. He’ll protect your heart. He’ll guide you. He’ll tell you it’s okay. He’ll show you that communities are really good for you. People call you higher. They love you during the highs, lows, and buffalos. Pursue them, because they will pursue you.
You are loved. You are forgiven. You are redeemed. You are beautiful. You are cared for. You a fierce princess of one amazing King.
