We have been singing the song “Reckless Love” a lot on the race so far. In it there is a lyric about Jesus leaving the 99 to go chase after the 1 based off of Matthew 18:12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?” I am still in a process of receiving a full revelation of God’s love for me but this scripture was something which came to my mind as I searched for a missing earring this morning. I searched for hours over a couple days walking back and forth retracing my steps and had just about resigned the chance of finding it when one of my team mates brought it to me upon their finding it. Throughout the pacing and seeking I simply worshipped with spontaneous song and reflected on this scripture. If I cared enough to spend all this careful time combing the area for a missing earring, how much further would G-d go to make sure everyone is included in the kingdom and no one is overlooked? To make sure ALL know of His love for them? I pray we all come to know fully of His love for us and realize it remains steadfast and unshaken. It will not ever go away for neither “height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:39

Thank you beloved for singing over me daily.

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17
