Since being on the World Race, I have learned to live simply. I can’t describe how much I love it. Our days consist of sleeping, eating, ministry, eating, and chilling. Repeat on repeat. I have gotten used to not constantly doing something and enjoying every moment here in God’s presence. I want to remember everything. In America there is such an emphasis on working and being busy all the time. Here I can relax and enjoy the beauty of Guat day by day. God’s beauty is so good here. We wake up seeing beautiful skies and mountains/volcanoes. It is so exciting knowing each day we are teaching and playing with kids. I wish I could live this simply forever. We have found joy in the littlest things through dancing through rain showers, riding the hour bus ride to ministry to see the scenery around us, getting cookies for lunch, having extra food to make grilled cheeses at night, worshipping at night, when the kids finally get como estas in English is how are you, and lastly when the empanadas lady comes on the bus to offer the most delicious empanadas to us. I am so happy I am here learning more about myself and God.

Throughout these two weeks we have expected 25 kids in the afternoon then we had 50 then 65 and then 85 and now 105!! These kids keep coming and coming. They all come giggling with their friends wanting us to know their names and about themselves. They have loved the head shoulders knees and toes song they have it fully memorized. I love teaching them English and bible stories. I can’t thank God enough for this simple but thriving life. I’ll keep updating my life weekly so subscribe to my blog!!

Hope everyone is doing well.
