On the race we have been taught that worshiping and praising God can be done in many different ways. One way I love worshiping God is rewriting Pslams. I wanted to share one of the Pslams I’ve rewritten.
You are my beam of sunshine and my rock.
You hold my whole life together in just the palm of your hands.
Why would I question your goodness in my life?
I won’t be shaken when the enemy comes for me; I will stomp on him.
I will not be afraid but will look to you in my time of need.
Lord, may I be overwhelmed by your glory and love always.
I can’t wait to be with you in heaven forever.
For when I am struggling, I will look to your face and not doubt your power to save me.
I will praise your name like the stars and I will shout your name from the valleys to the mountains.
I know you always answer me even when I don’t like the response.
My heart longs to talk to you every day.
I will not turn away from your faithfulness.
Lead me and guide me on your perfect path the rest of my days.
Show me how to love those who hate me and do wrong to me.
Show me how they are my sisters and brothers.
I am confident you will never leave me.
You will assist me in all my trials.
I will wait and listen to your voice.
I am strong and loved by you.
Lord, I love you forever.
