During our women’s session at debrief, we studied the book of Esther, and our authority as women of God, as Queens in the Kingdom.   The study itself was really good, but the highlight. for me, was our homework assignment: Make a crown to wear on our last night of worship together at debrief, to show our brothers that we are queens and walk in authority!

(Hehe. )

Andi and Ms. Patti had no idea what they unleashed in me that moment. Now, for some of the girls, this wasn’t really their cup of tea, which is just fine. However, from the moment it was announced… I was giddy with excitement!!!   Can I help if I have the gene for arts and crafts???

Jessica and I hit up the local market for supplies. I had been quite intrigued by prophetic meanings of colors, symbols, and numbers most of that week, so I made a list of the colors and symbols I wanted to have represented in my Royal Crown, and I went out on the hunt for materials!

After buying some cheap earrings, Christmas beads, ponytails, ribbon, a cheap wire crown, and some superglue… here’s the finished product!!!

(Keep in mind that I’m not professing to be a scholar/expert on any of these meanings. I simply did some research online and asked some friends.   This is my disclaimer: DO NOT USE in an essay or paper for school as a legitimate source.  Just enjoy the fact that God loves to use His amazing creativity to represent character and Spiritual amazingness. Okay: The end  :- )

Here’s what I used and what I chose it to represent:
