The MacDonald family has had several teams come and do construction/remodeling projects at the children’s hospital here in their hometown. Our team went on a tour of the hospital, and prayed over some of the patients and passed out bibles to those who wanted them. (Picture from our visit on the right with the head nurse). They’ve installed several water heater/shower rooms, and they’ve re-built several of the floors according to government regulations. There have been other projects around the hospital as well. The staff is all so grateful for everything they’ve been able to help with over the years!
Bruce said that the projects they’ve done at the hospital really opened up the doors for them to minister in their community openly. They are now free to go and minister to the patients and make room calls anytime they want to arrange it! Continue to pray that the local church will take advantage of this opportunity to meet new people who still do not know the Lord!
So… there are several projects in the works at the hospital, and with the money all you little kiddo’s at Herald Church raised, they are going to be able to buy a new breathing machine for the children and remodel the room it will be set up in! I guess it’s a much needed machine for children with asthma and other breathing difficulties, especially with the weather issues they deal with in this area. Although I won’t actually get to help with the remodeling myself, Bruce and the MacDonald Family is going to keep me up to date with the project and send us pictures when it’s completed!
