I LOVE LIFE! I love living in community. Laughing, crying, singing, praying, hurting, mourning and dancing with those around me. All of that wrapped up in the love, mercy, praise and adoration of our King!

I was raised in Modesto, CA in a Christian home with amazing parents and a loving church family of whom I am very grateful. Even though I’ve always loved the Lord, it wasn’t until I left the wings of my parents that I truly began to make my faith my own.
Going away to college forced me to decide who I was really going to make Lord of my life. Through many wonderful Christian friends and teachers, I was encouraged to seek the heart of Jesus simply for who He is, not just for what He did.
My first year of college I got involved in a traveling drama ministry called the Good News Players, and those friends dramatically impacted my walk with the Lord. I was challenged to be open with what I was dealing with, to be accountable with a close sister in Christ, and to be real no matter what anyone else thought. I was broken down and separated from all the complexes I had built up in my mind about Christianity and began to see a whole new way to live for Christ. I fell in love with Jesus, and in response to His love, I began pursuing a relationship and lifestyle fitting for His Bride.
I know I don’t have it all figured out, but He is so good about continually showing me more of Him and how to really live and be recklessly abandoned to Him. College has been so much more than getting degrees; it’s been a time of discipleship to prepare me for the rest of life of service to our amazing God.
I have Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Vocal Performance and my Masters in Business Management. (I know, they don’t really fit together, but that’s another story, haha).
I was the manager of Oakland City University’s gospel singing group Earthlight from 2006-2009, and it was such an amazing ministry to be involved in! I’m going to miss my singin’ family SO MUCH! I love worshipping the Lord through singing and sharing His love and truth with others through music.
I feel the Lord calling me to minister to the local church in the United States eventually, but I know He called me to take this journey with the World Race and discover more about Him, His love for His people and to open my eyes to how His Spirit is moving through His church all around the world.
I’m a daughter of the King. A lover of the Savior. A servant in the vineyard. Where He leads me, I will follow!
Fun Facts:
- Our family has the cutest half Toy Pomeranian/half Chihuahua named Bella!
- I love to dance and to learn new dances; everything from swing, latin, ballroom, to freestyle. I’m not a pro at any of them, but I love it!
- My friends have been known to make music videos to our favorite songs…or to silly songs that we’ve written. They’re usually ridiculous but very entertaining.
- I love sweet tea, chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and I prefer my Smores made with Reeses cups.
- I enjoy random road trips and traveling in any form. Exploring God’s beautiful creation is a love of mine!
- I have a life goal to visit all of the MLB ballparks and all of the 50 states. Go Oakland A’s! (Currently been to 19 of the stadiums, 44 states)
