I typically do a picture blog at the end of every month. However, this month I decided to try a little something different.

I get a lot of questions from friends and family about what life on The Race looks like. To be honest, it’s sometimes hard to answer that question as nothing ever stays the same. Housing, food, countries, ministries, people. It changes every month.

The quality isn’t as great as I’d like, I had to compress it to death to even attempt to upload it (I definitely take Wifi in America for granted) but it gets the point across.

P.S. – Here’s a little African vocabulary:

Mzungu – essentially means a white person. You can always count on being greeted by everyone and their grandma by people yelling ‘mzungu, mzungu!’

Matatu – an African taxi. They are mad crazy and are supposed to only carry 14 people but personal space is non-existent in Africa so 20 people in a matatu is totally normal.
