Though I’ve already said goodbye to Ireland and have been in Bucharest,Romania for the past two days staying in a hostel I hadn’t gotten the chance to update you on my last few days in Ireland. I can’t believe how fast time flew.

My team had the pleasure of having a day off and decided to hop on a bus and spend the day together in Port Rush. We took it easy and enjoyed dipping our feet in the freezing cold water, having a lazy lunch at a cute café and just walking around the town.

Saturday our contact arranged for us to drive up to Giant’s Causeway on the coast. It was absolutely breathtaking. I had really wanted to catch up on sleep Saturday morning but after arriving sleep seemed pretty lame compared to the beautiful view.

As usual, the pictures don’t seem to do it justice. The winds were a little crazy that day, the possibility of danger on the cliffs only makes the Irish coast all the more enjoyable wouldn’t you agree?

I’ll have to upload more pictures later as they aren’t all on my computer at the moment. After Giant’s Causway we went to Dunluce Castle and got to climb underneath the castle into a cave where ships used to come visit the castle through.

And to backtrack a bit…here are some pictures from some of our ministry and play here in Ireland I didn’t get to share earlier. I’m still getting the hang out this blogging thing when Internet isn’t readily available. Maybe I’ll get the hang out it by month 11?

During our VBS time, I fell in love with this kid named Ben. Irish accents only make  kids cuter. Ben was quite saucy and wouldn’t let me take his picture so I had to get creative and sneak up behind him to get a shot.

This was our favorite place to pirate Free Wifi and enjoy the most heavenly of hazelnut lattes, American coffee doesn’t really compare. These are two of my beautiful teammates, Bambi and Bethany enjoying some time off.

One of my favorite projects during community outreach was the simple act of passing out lightbulbs door to door. People were incredibly confused as to why we would hand something out for free. I got to meet some really sweet people, including Martin who suffers from some sort of disease that could leave him unable to walk at any minute. We had the chance to pray over Martin as well as make his day a little brighter with something as silly as a lightbulb.

As I begin month 2 of ministry heading into Moldova I’d ask that you’d help me spread the word. I’m still needing about $3,500 to be fully funded and able to stay on the field for the entire year. I need half of that by November but would love if it could all be in by then so I wouldn’t have to stress about raising money while doing ministry. So why not send my blog address to friends, family, really anyone to help me spread the word. You can donate by clicking Support Me on the left hand side of my blog.

I’m not sure what Internet access will look like in Moldova so I’ll try to update you on things there as often as possible. Thank you all for your emails, stories, and continued prayers. I appreciate them more than you know and keep ’em coming!
