For those of you that know me well, this announcement won’t be much of a surprise.

I have been accepted to serve with Adventures in Missions on the World Race!
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries around the world, and my route will travel to Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. My squad and I will spend a month in each country serving in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. Through all of that, you must know that the World Race is an intensive discipleship program that will deepen my faith as I learn to truly rely on Him for every thing and prepare me to passionately live out a lifestyle I’ve been called to live for a very long time.
I’ve already been growing exponentially since I received news that this was going to be my reality for the next year. As I prepare, the Lord has already opened my heart to issues I have with control and fully trusting Him with what I’m about to do. Stay tuned, I’ll write more about that later…
One of the many ways I’m learning to depend on our Father is in raising enough financial support. In order to leave fully funded in August of 2018, I need to raise $18,000, which will cover a year’s worth of meals, lodging, air, land, and sea travel, medical insurance, and administrative costs.

Although $18,000 is a lot of money, I know this is what God has called me to do. Call me crazy, but I know He will provide. JC has already been showing out big time!
As I leap into this next phase in my life, I ask that you begin praying for me and my squad mates as we are all preparing our hearts for this journey.
