huaticocha – pronounced wah-tee-coe-cha
that's where my team will be for our first month of world race in ecuador!
it is a town in the north east of the country in the amazon basin.
we'll get to partner with the ninawachi mission school to work the with community and do some construction! looks like i need to start working out.
i'm so excited that we know where we'll be! i don't know a ton yet, but here is a video i found of the organziation and people we'll be with!
oh and…huaticocha isn't on google maps. and if you image search it, one of the first photos is of a bunch of naked guys carrying a giant snake. and then most of the rest of the photos are from world racers. i have a feeling it's gonna be a crazy month!
