I realized my last blog was a little misleading or perhaps
confusing.  I certainly don’t want my
readers to think I am burdened by writing blogs; I actually look forward to
sharing my experiences with the ones I love.
Even more so I love reading your comments filled with deep insight,
honesty, humility, flattery and encouragement.
The overwhelming amount of regular readers and dedicated supporters has
been a huge source of fuel these last 11 months.

Perhaps what my most recent blog failed to emphasize is a
desire (and somewhat self inflicted pressure) to share new, fresh, and inspiring,
stories of God’s incredible work around the world.  I presumed, while moving to me, my readers
must be bored reading about the same lessons I’m learning, just in a different
context.

I also wrote that life on the race has become second nature and
routine, but still pretty fabulous. To clarify, it is fabulous
not because this adventure has taken me to 11 countries in 11 months but
because of God, because of all He has done and continues to do in and through
me and all His willing followers.  Four
years ago I choose to live with God.  Eleven months ago I choose to live for God. Coming on the race was the
first time I ever truly put Him first in my life.

My wonderful Aunt’s recent blog comment shared that her
Pastor said he feels God’s presence when he does the dishes.  Reading this warmed my heart and even
inspired me to continue sensing God in the small things (something I’ve written
many blogs about).  Reading this reminded
me that hearing how people experience God, hearing how God uses us, hearing how
God moves and works in, through and around us is never boring to me.  I could never get bored hearing about our
great God, whether the context is doing dishes or traveling around the
world.  And I hope you haven’t either.

Thank you again for your faithful following of God’s
presence around the world and in my life these last 11 months.
