“I know where I’m from
and I told ya before
North of America hard to ignore
every time I go away I tell them for sure
I’m from Canada o-o-o Canada”

Yes. This is it. This is the national pride, I am Canadian NOT American post. After I seen the results for the Leading From Your Strengths personality test participants are required to take I couldn’t help myself.

I want to share this because I found it extremely funny. I had to take a personality test called “leading from your strengths.” At the end of the test there is a personality wheel. It’s divided into 4 sections and each section has an animal: beaver, lion, otter and the outline of an animal that I seriously can’t make out, (It’s just crazy looking).

Anyways… I giggled my way through out the whole thing because those people must have been spying on me for years to come up some of their conclusions. It’s just weird to read about yourself in technical terms.

      For example:

“She pays more attention to logic than emotional “hype”.”

“She may guard some information unless she is asked specific questions.”

“Nicole is not easily triggered or explosive…”

“She is not easily distracted by peripheral activity.”

“She dislikes volunteering her opinion until she has collected sufficient information to warrant an opinion.”

Or, my personal favourite because it’s so true:

“Nicole has a tendancy to have difficulty establishing priorities. Has a tendancy to make all things a number one priority–may have trouble meeting deadlines.”

Anyways, when they tallied up all of my character traits guess which one I ended up being???

dv379025, George Jones /Photodisc      I’m already the typical Canadian stereotype. I say thank you and sorry about a hundred times each day. I say “eh” on a regular basis. Now I fall under the beaver catagory on this personality test as a ‘co-ordinator’.

That made me laugh really hard…

And the moral to the story is: There really is nothing new under the sun. Nothing is truly 100% unique, it’s all been done before. Doesn’t make life any easier but it should be comforting to know that nothing surprises God. Nothing is too big for him to handle. As we face challenges, like raising support, we can turn to him and know that he’s got it all under control and be encouraged.
