During this past summer I attended nine weddings. I truly love weddings, however nine is a lot to handle in only a 6 month time period. I’ve only been gone for a month and have been hearing about more friends getting engaged and planning weddings for the summer of 2010. The summer I will be gone, which brings mixed feelings. Feelings of joy knowing that they have found the love of their life, but then feelings of sadness because I won’t be able to be there.
People always have their favorite part of weddings. For me the best part is watching the grooms face when he first sees the bride. You can just see so much emotion in his face. You can see a sense of pride on the groom’s face as he sees his wife walking down the aisle towards him. Some are fighting off tears while others are letting them flow. Some are grinning from ear to ear.
