Coming into this month I was a bit
disappointed having to teach an entire month of English. Last month in Cambodia
part of our ministry was teaching English, I did not enjoy any part of it. It
made me wonder why people sign up to teach English in other countries around
the world. I thought I would never be one of those people.
However, things started to change in
Thailand. I don’t know what was so different this month compared to last month,
but I rather enjoyed teaching English to the varies schools throughout the
month. It took probably about two and a half weeks for me to enjoy it, but just
a few days ago after teaching a class it came to my realization that teaching
English has become quite enjoyable to me. I actually started looking forward to
the next opportunity.
I know this month’s ministry was placed
in my hands to instill this new love because looking back I was not excited for
the month. In the months to come
if teaching English is a part of the ministry I will have a new outlook than I
did this month.
I miss the children already in those
schools!!!!
