1.) I want to adopt children, more than I probably should at the age of 21
(don’t worry, I’ll wait. 22 sounds better
)
2.) Totally comfortable with women constantly breastfeeding less than 3 meters away from me
3.) Camped off the Zambezi river with crocodile/hippo infested waters ( on Friday the 13th!!!)
4.) Bungee jumped 111 meters off the Victoria falls bridge ( longest 5 seconds of my LIFE)
5.) Saw the Milky Way!!!! And it’s rare beautiful colors
6.) I believe a “FREE SALE- everything must go” advertisement before a “WIFI” advertisement outside of cafés and restaurants any day of the week in Africa
7.) I’m use to driving on the opposite side of the road and I still have 5 more months of it (meaning I won’t know how to drive when I return to Miami)
8.) The red African sand left my feet permanently “dirty”- a word which has taken on a new definition for me
9.) I have officially experienced food poisoning (you do not want to puke or have the runs here, believe me)
10.) My white nikes were stolen from my backyard- A.K.A. I’m not meant to have close towed shoes on the race
11.) I watched the Lion King in Africa … *Check that off the bucket list*
We have just finished our ministry month in Zambia. Meeting my entire squad right here in Livingstone for a 5 day debrief on what we experienced during our first month in Africa.
If African WIFI allows, I will have my the Albanian and Zambian videos uploaded to share my experience with everyone!
