Last Sunday I was not doing so well. I had been super sick the past three days, barely able to get out of bed. It had been cold, as cold as San Diego can get, and raining. I finally mustered up the strength to get out of the house and go to church with a few of my friends. I was in no way joy-filled or open to God’s Spirit. To be honest, I was grumpy. I stepped out the door and it was rainy and cold- not at all helping my mood.
I got to my car to open the door and happened to look up- spanned across the sky was a full rainbow. It was perfect, and it instantly filled me with hope, joy and inexplicable love.
In my family, rainbows are special. A gift from God to show us that He loves us and has the perfect plan for us. I know the science behind why a rainbow occurs with the light refraction and the wavelengths oflight, but I know that rainbow was for me. That’s just the plain and simple truth. It was God’s gift to me and I was so thoroughly blessed by it.

Oh, How He Loves Us So.
Oh, How He Loves Us.
How He Loves Us All.
