We are approaching the end of 6 months on the Race!! This journey has been absolutely amazing! We’ve gotten to see 6 incredible countries across the world, experience different cultures, struggle through multiple language barriers, see God’s beautiful creation, and see/be a part of God’s Kingdom all over the world. Words can’t really describe this trip, but it’s been nothing short of an experience: an experience that we will never forget and that will impact the rest of our lives.
Not only have we gotten to serve people from all over, but God’s also grown us personally in so any ways. The Race isn’t just something that is taking 11 months of our life; it’s something that will hopefully impact the way we live even afterwards. One of the biggest things that God has grown me in is the importance of community and what gospel-centered community looks like. This has been a continuous learning experience because anytime you put sinful human beings together in contact with one another 24/7, conflict is going to arise. And the Race has taught me how to deal with that conflict in a godly way and how to love my teammates and show grace to them even when I don’t feel like it. God has given me a deep love for my team where I want to fight for their spiritual journey just as much as I fight for my own. And that is why I am writing this blog.
As you probably know, each person has to raise money to go on the Race: $15,500 to be exact. Thanks to your generous contributions I am fully funded!! I can’t express all my gratitude to all that have supported me both financially and in prayer! This experience wouldn’t be possible without your help. We are all coming together and bringing the Kingdom of God to the ends of the earth!
However, I have 3 teammates who are still in need of funds in order to continue on the Race. We have to have all of our money in by July 1st!! That is only 2 weeks away!! We all are completely confident that God can do all things. I’m not sure as to what all His purposes may be, but I know that He is a God that is not constrained by money. He will bring in the funding that we need! If you would consider giving financially to some of my teammates, I would greatly appreciate it! Although some of us are fully funded, we want to fight alongside our teammates that aren’t there yet!

It has been so awesome getting to know these people and live life with them these last 6 months! I love them all very much and would hate to see any of them have to leave early because of finances!
