This past week we have been in Baños having debrief. The entire squad discussed how this past month has went, and each team discussed with leadership how the month went.
My team and one other moved to Shell on Monday and we are working with the Zuniga Family Mission. There are three different facets to this ministry: street ministry with the prostitutes, trips into the Amazon to evangelize to the tribes (this is the area that the movie End of the Spear took place), and working in a special needs orphanage. Currently, it looks like I might be one of two people who works at the orphanage doing physical therapy with the children. I am very excited about this opportunity and the ensuing growth I pray will occur in me.
All in all, everything is going great so far! I am officially one month into the race and having a fantastic time. For those of you who have been praying for me, thank you so much! It is greatly appreciated.
