I know it’s been a while since I’ve written a blog, but life has gotten crazy over the last 2 years. I’ve seen thousands depart for the race, traveled back to Africa, started dating someone, proposed to her last Christmas, and got married 2 weeks ago! It’s been a whirlwind, and in the midst of it all, it’s sometimes easy to forget why I’m here, in Gainesville, GA, working at Adventures in Missions.
It’s easy to go through the motions, live each day, and not remember how exactly the World Race changed me.
Thankfully, however, we have an incredible media team here that created a new video to promote the World Race, and in the process, remind those of us who have been why it was the best year of our lives.
I encourage you to watch this video and do 3 things:
1. Remember when I was on the race and how you saw me transform over the 11 months. Some of the places I was at are in the video!
2. Pray and ask the Lord to continue the transformation process in you, and to see Him more in the little details of every day.
3. Share this video with anyone you know who is 21-35. It’s an incredible journey and I highly recommend anyone who wants more out of this life to “give up” a year of their life to see how the Lord could use them.
