So I’ve been in the Dominican Republic for a little over a week now and it’s been awesome!
Our view every morning!!
My team and four other teams are partnering with Hope for DR in several ministries working alongside a pastor Reuben, his wife Vicky, and their family and team. The team I’m on had manual labor last week to build a structure that will be used for church services, kids camps, meetings etc. We had to work on leveling the side of this hill and using the dirt to fill in/build this tire wall
It’s been great getting to know my teammates better. This week we are working on curriculum for young girls educating/counseling them on how to recover and avoid sexual abuse due to cultural ignorance and screwed-upedness. So yall can be praying for wisdom for us and that the Father would use the curriculum to touch and heal these girls hearts!
Looking forward on how God is going to continue to work in me and us as a squad the rest of our time in the Dominican!
