This last month has been awesome! It was the first month that my team and I have been on our own, so it was very different from month 1 and 2, but it was good. We got to know each other alot better and learn how to better communicate as a team. Living in such close community isn’t always easy, but by God’s grace we’re learning how to better communicate and encourage each other. We were in Jaco, which is big tourist, party town. We were able to serve alongside several different ministries supported by the local church. We did everything from tree removal, to kids club on Saturdays, to leading worship on Sunday mornings, to late nigh prayer walks through the streets. It was cool cause we were actually living in the community as opposed to going out to the community and returning to our compound in the afternoon. We just did life with the local church of Jaco.

This month God’s been doing a ton in me personally. I read the book “Wild at Heart” after being strongly encouraged to read it by another guy on the squad, and the Lord blew my mind wide open! I’m not going to go into every little detail, but the bottom line, God’s been healing me of some past wounds/identities that I had believed and lived out, some of which I had kinda forgotten about. He has also been showing me who I really am in Him and that in Him and His strength, I am capable of anything and have nothing to fear because I am already sooo loved! If I had to sum up what God’s been showing me in a movie quote, it would be from Lord of the Rings when the Elf king tell Aragorn, the true king who has doubted his abilities to be king and become a kind of outcast/mercenary, “Put aside the ranger. Become who you were born to be.” And the Lord just spoke to me through that that it’s time to stop living the lies of who I believed and saw myself as in the past, who others have viewed me as, or what the enemy has told me I am and live in light of the truth of who my Father says I am and who He has created me to be! I am no longer a Slave to Fear! I am a Child of God!!

Also, a HUGE thank you to all of you who have chosen to partner with me in spreading the Good News around the world. Because of your generosity, I’m at $11,900. I still need an additional $4,350 by July 1st for a grand total of $16,250 in order to be fully funded and stay on the Race. God has faithfully provided! I don’t believe He’s brought me this far for me to go home early. Please consider being a part of the World Race through both prayer and financial support. Thank you sooo much! I wouldn’t be here without you!! Dios te Bendiga! (God bless you)
