Friends I just wanted to give you a small glimpse into what training camp has been for me over the past couple of days. Two things have really stood out and I can confirm the Lord is moving among me and my squad.

Since I have come to know the Lord I have withheld from making very specific promises to Him. I have taken let your yes be your yes and your no be your no way to ridged. I have boxed my Lord in and I have repented of that. Tuesday morning I went down by the water and made a covenant with my Lord, a sort of battle cry for my life moving forward. It comes from Joshua 24:15, it says, “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” What a powerful statement and a great daily reminder of our call.

Another work that took place this week was coming to terms with the way the Spirit interacts with me. I have seen some pretty profound spiritual things happen this week and have found myself desiring the same reactions; however, I feel the Lord meets us where we are. I was standing at the top of a hill after a long hike, desperately wanting to hear from God. What I heard was simple, he said, “lay it down my son, the worry and fear is not of me or my creation.” Nothing flashing, nothing loud but just how I needed to hear it. I feel like the Spirit set the expectation for the future and when the flashy miracles do come in the field it will be all the more glorious.

I have to take a moment and thank AIM and their staff for a great week and a half. This event was by far the most well thought out and spiritually challenging experience I have encountered to date. This organization is legit.
