Trip preparations..
It’s getting closer!! We are leaving from the JFK airport to Dublin, Ireland August 11th! We are so excited and can’t wait to start this journey. We’ve purchased our one way tickets to JFK, got our travel shots, bought health ins. and have sent most of our paperwork in.
As we’ve prepared for this trip I’ve been amazed and overwhelmed by love and support shown by many. Recently my family planned a benefit for Nick and I. They had tables after table of items for the silent auction. There were food stands with pizza, hotdogs, BBQ and live music.
I was overwhelmed, with the generosity shown by the community, and all the love and support shown by my family. Knowing how much my family is completely behind us, cheering for us, I can’t even explain how loved I felt leaving the fundraiser Saturday night.
I’m sure you’ve heard that one person cannot truly love without knowing the love of Christ. I felt that they were so full of Christ’s love that God’s love was flowing from these wonderful people in my life out to us. It was amazing! They rose over $1,000.00 for us that night. But I felt that God wasn’t just saying I can and will provide for you, but that he was showing me a glimpse of his unconditional, unending love.
We would like to thank everyone for supporting us, for investing in the Kingdom. Thank you to all the business’s that made donations to make this event possible.
We want to say a special thank you to the Sampson’s and the Ferrens, for all their love and support, for all the time they spent pouring into my life and now Nick’s life. Thank you for being faithful to God and being amazing examples of Christ’s love over and over again. We love you all so much!!
