Nick here, I’m going to keep this short and briefly let you all in on what’s going on this week. As you may know, Campus Crusade for Christ had planed to have a Josh McDowell lead conference this week and our teams have been helping to prepare for it. Putting up posters and passing out flyers at high schools and universities here in Tirana and in Elbasan. Anyways, Josh is apparently having some health problems and isn’t allowed to fly and therefore can’t make it. Now for a few days we were all wondering if it was going to happen or be cancelled, but all is working out and there is a replacement for him for this week and he will apparently try to come back soon.
I’m writing this to ask for your prayers this week. Not that we wouldn’t have wanted them before, but things are a little crazier now. Pray that the Albanian people, who have spent a lot of time setting all this up, would be calm and trusting that God’s plan is happening, no matter how different it looks from what we wanted it to be. Also keep Josh in your prayers (I say Josh like I know him or something. HA!) I don’t know anything as far as what’s wrong, but if it kept him from flying over here it can’t be good. So please be praying that his health would improve and all would be well. Also pray that we would be safe as we begin to travel out of Albania this weekend. I can hardly believe that the month is already almost over. It feels like just yesterday I woke up in a park…..ok not really yesterday. Our time here has truly been a blessing to me and Lacey, so pray for us on our way out that all would go well and that next month would be all the more fruitful.
Nick
