Hey y’all, I just wanted to take a few minutes and introduce myself for those of you who don’t know me to well. Well first off my I’m Nicholas Nunes. I’m 24 years old (I’ll be 25 right before the trip). I was born and raised in the home of sunshine, palm trees and white sandy beaches the great state of Florida! My passions and hobbies outside of church include sports especially soccer. I am the oldest of five children from my amazing parents Vic & Linda. Who’ve raised me to always be humble and helpful anyway I can be.
I recently graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Global Financial Policy this past December. Since then I have been a 11th and 12th grade ESE History teacher at the same high school I graduated from. Never did I hesitate to return and give back to the place that build me. South Florida has been home to my family and I since ’04. And being able to return and teach the next generation, especially those who sometimes forgotten. Just lights a fire in me and puts a smile on my face.
