The Holy Spirit is so so amazing and I learned to know who He is at training camp!  Before I knew about the Holy Spirit but I didn’t KNOW, personally, the Holy Spirit.  One night session was on the Holy Spirit and for me it all started during the first worship set that night!  I was singing and so overcome with emotion at the truth of the words in the songs I couldn’t explain it.  I truly was in communion with the Holy Spirit in that moment and I knew who He was right then and there.  The songs that hit me the most were “No Longer Slaves” and “Good Good Father” (if you haven’t heard either of them I strongly encourage you to give them each a listen).  Both these songs gave me a sense of healing for my sins because the truth that we are no longer slaves to the fear of people knowing our worst sin and to our sin its self was so clear then and there.  I accepted and leaned into to God there because of Him I knew I wasn’t a slave anymore!  I also realized and felt it for real the I truly am a son of God and He loves me.  Throughout that night I received a lot of prayer and words over me that all confirmed the same thing that I am a son of God and he loves me and I am no longer bound by my past sins!  It was so amazing that night that I can hardly even explain it!! I know for sure that I am a child of God and He loves me and I love Him.

All in all training camp changed me forever and for the better because I grew so much in my relationship with Christ throughout the 10 days.  I hear the voice of God more clearly and have a more powerful prayer life and longing to continue to grow in Christ and live on mission and live constantly in communion with God!! I can’t explain fully what all I felt because of how moving it was and how crazy awesome God is!!!

Another thing prayed over me and words people were receiving from God for me was that I am a leader of those around me and have an impact just by being me and that my words have power.  These words were very encouraging and also humbling to me.  I try to live my life as a servant leader, one who will do everything and lead by example and not ask others to do something I wouldn’t do.  These words came to reality at the end of the week because I was chosen for a leadership positon in my squad.  I am one of two Logistics Leaders for the squad.  I was told that I was chosen for this for good reason and I plan to continue to lead with humility in this and striving to use this leadership position as a ministry to my squad!

Training camp has grown me so much and grown my excitement for the rest of the race and what all God will do on it in and through me and my team!

Thank you to all those who have been praying for me and also to those who have supported me financially!! Both have been very helpful and I couldn’t be doing any of this without your support so Thank you!!
