I really love worship a lot! It’s one of the ways I connect best with the Lord; through praising Him through music which I absolutely love!
I have been on a worship at my high school since sophomore year. During those years I always played an instrument I was really good at and was confident with. And Senior year I kind of sort of was one of the main leaders of the group and would give directions and I played every week that year!
On the race worship has been done many ways. Like just listening and singing along to songs playing through a speaker, or a group of us on the squad would play worship songs acoustic style. For this worship I always played a percussion instrument or the piano, both of which I am good and confident in playing!
Here in Thailand my team is living with another team and no one plays guitar for like worship so we hadn’t done it with instruments until last week! My friends Noah and Allie both have guitars and I offered to lead by playing guitar!! I have been relearning guitar throughout this race but I am nowhere near as good on guitar as I am on drums or piano. However, I decided to lead along with my friends Allie and Hanna! Allie and I both played guitar while Hanna sung, and it was really fun!! I am really looking forward to leading worship like that more and getting better at guitar, piano, and any other instrument I desire to learn!
