It’s been quite a while since you all have heard from me on here and that is really not good of me, so sorry about that.

Any ways quite a bit has happened since my last blog and I’ll try and recap a bit of it here!

We’ve had about a month and a half of ministry already, which is crazy cause it feels like just yesterday we arrived here in Albania and its flown by fast!  For ministry in the mornings into the afternoons all of us are working on a 9 foot by 9 foot shed and a garden on this piece of land our host owns and eventually will be putting a church on it!  This shed we are doing is going to be a place in the village where our host can teach English to kids in the village!  This village is almost all Muslim so her building a church here will be a huge thing for the kingdom, which is why I’m really excited about getting this shed up!  In the afternoons the girls all go teach (kind of) at this afterschool English and art program they are in charge of at a school!  Whenever the guys aren’t working on the shed in the afternoons we go to the school with the girls every now and again.

On Thursdays my team is doing a bible study with the other co-ed team in Tirana.  It’s a real great time that we get to check in with each other on our weeks and read through the bible.  Us guys are currently reading through Judges which is a not very common bible study book, but we are still learning things from it which is great!

On our weekends we haven’t done anything to crazy other than this past weekend my team and I went on a little vacation to Ohrid Macedonia!  It was a very beautiful place on a very clear and blue lake! It was quite the adventure for sure.  Other than that, we’ve just explored around the city of Tirana with the co-ed team here in Tirana.

Another thing that has happened since my last blog is that my squad leader Allie went home.  It was rather sudden and odd since she had been in Turkey for a month and we hadn’t seen here since she was helping to deal with some sickness things over there.  There will be more to come on this so stay tuned.

Last thing that I have been learning a bit kind of and just really realizing here is this: that you can still be prideful even if you aren’t out in the spotlight.  This was kind a big realization when I realized it lol.  I love doing all the behind the scenes things and things that people don’t always care to do and I am gifted to do those kinds of things.  I was being prideful in that though and I didn’t even realize it.  I was always saying how I was good at that sort of thing and patting myself on the back for it.  However now that I’ve realized it I’ve changed my thoughts from “oh look at me doing these things” to me using my gifts and how I enjoy doing the background stuff for the glory of the Lord!  Another thing I’ve been realizing again is how much we can’t do things alone and by our own power, and how much we need God to help us fight things of the enemy and do things for His glory!

That’s all for now! Thank you all for your prayers and support, it is much appreciated!!
