Hi there! Whatever which way you’ve found your way to my blog page I’m happy you’ve landed here and I’d love to take a minute and give you a little insight on my life and what’s been stirring in my heart. My name is Nichola, I’m 22 years old and born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida (living in the same house since birth.) I’m currently majoring in Business Marketing and am soon to graduate this upcoming May at Florida Atlantic University. After many years of working in the fashion retail world, I changed gears and am now a nanny with my sister for 2-year-old TRIPLET boys (truly the sweetest of Gods creation ever!) My parents are Norman and Jackie, and although our family went through the devastation of divorce, I am so close with both my parents and cherish them both soooo much!….(and Normie only lives down the street which is a super plus.) I have one sister who is 2 ½ years younger than me and she is my BEST FRIEND! I thank God for her daily. We live together, work together, volunteer together, church together, and pretty much everything in between! (leaving her for 11 months will be the HARDEST.) I love fashion! I love to create art though outfits by mixing and matching patterns and styling together BOLD funky pieces. For so long I thought I’d have a career in the fashion industry, but God has placed a different purpose and plan over my life. He has called me to be a light in dark places declaring His glory. Being one who has struggled severely with attacks of anxiety, I know what it’s like for God to come in and overwhelm the darkness with His everlasting, all-sufficient LIGHT! I believe I am on a mission to spread not only the light He has ignited in me but also His love and His grace in all places near and far. That is exactly why I prayed on the World Race and moved without hesitation when God said: “move.” I hope to be an example of the heart of Christ in every place and with every person that I encounter. First and foremost I pray to grow in the still moments with God and His word on this trip. Moments of intimate silence so all that is heard is Gods voice and guidance. That way I am lead and fueled by the Holy Spirit, and what I am pouring into others is straight from God and not form me. An overflowing of what He’s poured into me. I’m honored God has chosen me to be His vessel, and I invite you to be a part of this journey with me. Please keep me in your prayers as God prepares me spiritually, mentally and physically for this Journey with Him. Pray for me to be infused with strength, faith, hope, and LOVE. I’m stoked to see what miracles God has in the works for this team!
