This time next year I will be, God willing, in Cambodia.
They have gone from mythology of Naga to the Indianization & adoption of Hindi religion. They are now 95% Buddhist.
Religion greatly influences the culture in all areas. As with most places with reincarnation based religions (such as Buddhism & Hinduism) as the primary religion the caste system can be very hard for those born into lower caste families or those born with disabilities. It is seen as a form of punishment, this means that there can be little to no compassion for those who are in need.
I hope to help bring the Good News to these people. To give them hope so that they would worship the one true God.
