Pura Vida, is a phrase they use a lot here in Costa Rica. Pura Vida means “the pure/good life” and that for sure is what it is!
When my team and I arrived here I felt a peace and instantly at home. Our host Bryan and Beth are from Alabama and sure do show us true southern hospitality! Not only do I feel completely at home with them but the ministry here has been amazing!
Bryan and Beth work with Conexion ministries http://missioncostarica.com/ it is a wonderful ministry that tries to build connections in the community of San Pedro and share the love of Jesus in various ways.
Currently we have been doing prayer walks for the purchase of a brand new property for the ministry, we have cleaned and organized medicine for a medical mission expedition we are going on this weekend, painted various homes in low-income areas, vacation bible school in a local church, and currently did demolition in a home that was abandoned for 2 years.
