It’s UNREAL to think that we’ve been doing this.
Today it hit me as my team and I were walking through the veggie market in Bulawayo, Africa that we were doing this thing called the world race. There has been moments of excitement, challenges, tears, and laughter that I never could have ever imagined thinking back 100 days ago. Now, here it is day 100/320…
I was about to list 100 things that happened or were learned from the world race so far but I realized that would take FOREVER and still only scratch the surface of everything that’s happened on this race. So instead I chose to list 10 things done and 10 things that were learned from 100 days of being on the race…because 10 X 10 = 100 and it’s cool see a glimpse of what God has done.
10 things done that I never thought I’d do:
1. Eat fried cow brain
2. Climb a roof of a church to get a soccer ball
3. Learn 4 different languages & currencies
4. Go cliff jumping in Africa
5. Visit castles
6. Preach and teach everyday
7. Play ukulele
8. Play frisbee in Nkhata Bay
9. Crack walnuts for ministry
10. Do prison & gypsy ministry
10 things I’ve learned from the Lord:
1. Rejoice all times
2. Being vulnerable is actually a strength
3. Empower people in their gifts
4. Be intentional
5. Abandoning comfort is okay
6. Laugh a lot
7. It’s human to make mistakes
8. Choose in and choose others
9. Appreciate the simple things of life
10. Don’t take life for granted
10 X 10 = 100 days
There is SO much more I could share but all in all, the Lord has done amazing things so far! It‘s only day 100 out of 320 and I’m excited to see what the Lord has to come.
Day 100 out of 320.
