Hey y’all! This journey that started 5 months ago is becoming more real each and every day. Today, I’m in a car driving to Atlanta Georgia for training camp. What?! You might be wondering what does the World Race training camp look like? It is a timeframe of 10 days where I will meet the rest of my team, learn customs/ways of all the various cultures that we will travel to, learn ways of sharing the gospel to people groups and much more. In the midst of prepping for all of this, so many questions were swirling through my head! Maybe you can resonate with these questions in general with life:
•HOW DOES TIME FLY BY SO FAST?
•AM I SERIOUSLY ABOUT TO DO THIS?
•DO I KNOW ENOUGH?
•WHAT IF I FAIL?
•AM I WORTHY ENOUGH?
•IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?
Be still and know.
Know what?! Know that He is God and He is in control. When I said “yes” to God and His calling on my life, the answer I have to all of this is, here I am Lord send me. Why? Because if you know the Father, you know He is in control and will never leave you or forsake you.
“In your weakness I AM the strength that comes from within.”
The Bible says, He has chosen the weak things to confound the mighty. The foolish things to confound the wise (see 1 Corinthians 1:27) so will I go through times of weakness (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually) at training camp? Yes I’m human, but I can rest assured knowing that the great I AM lives inside of me and His power is made PERFECT in my weaknesses.
It is my prayer that you are encouraged and challenged to say YES to God in the midst of your questions and weaknesses because let’s be real who has it all together anyways?! Know that He is God and He is in control. Take a leap of faith and don’t look back cause He’s right there with you.

I truly would not be in this position today, if it weren’t for you! You are helping in furthering the kingdom more than you even know.
