In the mist of tornadoes, earthquakes, soaring gas prices, Middle East uprisings, economic down
turns, and other depressing news items it is easy to lose focus of what
God is doing. But his Kingdom is still advancing and I have the privilege of seeing first hand of one thing he has been up to:
Since I have joined the The World Race in October of 2008 we have seen an explosion. That year in 2008 The World Race sent around 110 Racers. In 2011 we are looking to send some 700 Racers out on a trek of a life time.
Last year around this time The World Race office was composed of about 12 people in the basement of a house in Port Huron, Michigan. Since then The World Race has moved down here and takes up the entire 2nd floor of AIM’s international headquarters with a staff of 60.
Also, AIM just celebrated sending its 90,000th person on a mission trip since it was founded in 1989.
God is in the business of mobilizing his people to the nations. Despite the chaos in the world more people are being called to GO, the gospel is going deeper into unreached areas, and a generation is rising up to take back what was stolen. Maybe he is calling you to GO?
