I wanted to gather up some prayer for this week. For the last 2 months most of my time has been spent getting ready for this one week. Project Searchlight. It starts Friday afternoon. We will be putting on a 6 day conference for over 100 World Race alumni. Our goal is to help them transition into their next season of life, whether that is in the mission field in Thailand or in the business world in Atlanta.
I personally feel pretty overwhelmed. I am juggling hundreds of details and tasks. My main roles are over seeing lodging and transportation. We are using 25 different homes locally to house everyone and have a complex carpooling system to get everyone to the event daily.
Also I am taking care of our opportunities fair. I have invited 30 organizations to present opportunities for these Racers to get plugged into. We have a range of mission, ministry, and business organizations representing.
I could use prayer to stay relaxed and energized. I already feel pretty wiped and the event hasn’t even started.
Also please pray for all these Racers. This is a formative transition period in their life. They are seeking what to do next. Pray they have clarity and commitment into their next season.
