Within a few days over 10,000 signatures came in signing a petition to get the international media involved in helping to rescue children from Son of God Orphanage. article announcing the closure of the Son of God Orphanage in
Carrefour, Haiti. The children were removed by UNICEF and taken to new
homes.

only one other orphanage has been shut down by the Haitian government.
