This summer I have been able to invest a lot of my time helping World Racers come home and move into their next season.  Most head toward a longer term ministry plan. It is really exciting to be a part of such a unqiue time in their life.

Some of these Racers have even claimed that I have changed their lives.  Jess Gasperin was one.  She has a huge heart to see those in need overseas recieve dental care.  Her plan following the Race was to enroll in a four year dentistry school and then move overseas to give dental aid.

It sounded like a good plan until I started asking more questions.  I found out quickly that she was dreading the whole idea of going back to school.  I then asked a simple question:

"Are you more interested in seeing dentists mobilized to meet needs overseas or more interested in giving the dental care yourself?"

Turns out she would much rather assemble a network of dentists to serve overseas than to be a dentist herself.   She jumped up at this revelation and started shouting that she didn't need go back to school for her dream.

What she needed to become was a mobilizer for dentists.  Not an actual dentist.  Now she is working towards developing her skills to do just that.

It is moments like these that make all the long hours of preparation worth it.   Below is a brief video from our conferences this year.  Our next one starts tomorrow.
