Something I’m looking forward to about the World Race is meeting people from all over the world and hearing their stories.
Mag was met by William Reed in B squad. He contracted leprosy when he was young and has been living in a leprosy colony since. Although Mag is missing a foot and both hands he dedicates his life to serving others. Every day he sweeps the entire compound, hoes the garden, and lays bricks. What struck me most about his story was that he does it all with a joyful heart and makes everyone around him smile. I CANNOT wait to meet people like Mag who have so many obstacles in their lives but are choosing joy each day.
