Jordan is mostly desert. This means it is harder to find flowers naturally, but it’s never impossible when you have the patience to observe and seek out the beauty around you. When you do find these flowers, they explode with color and purpose. The followers of Jesus have meant as much. They are few, but they carry the Holy Spirit and the Name of Jesus with boldness and conviction I have not seen in other places. Whether followers or flowers, the greatest beauty can often be found in the harshest places.
Even in Petra, little flowers can be found. You have to look closely but they are there! Even the smallest color counts.
