Hey everyone!
It‘s been a challenging month for the world to say the least. Things are changing and evolving so rapidly that it’s hard to keep up. I know for me personally, it still doesn’t feel real at times. A worldwide pandemic at this level, its something I never thought I’d live to see. My heart goes out to those whose plans have been cancelled, whose schools have shut down, to those who’ve lost work, and of course those who have been or know someone infected with COVID-19, as well as all those affected by it in general (everyone). At least for once the world can be united in that we all don‘t like this situation.
I had an opportunity to speak with a part of the leadership team at Adventures in Missions to shed some light on where we’re at in terms of leaving in September.. Adventures in Missions is holding off on cancelling future Missions Programs until more is known on just how long this will last. At this moment, I don’t leave for The World Race: Gap Year for another 5 months, but obviously there are still a lot of concerns, and with things changing every day, it’s hard to give a straight answer as to whether my Missions Trip will be cancelled or not. Nevertheless, I as well as Adventures in Missions believe it is unlikely that this pandemic will still be around come September, so I am not changing any plans and am still accepting donations!
But then again, none of us really know.
However, in the unfortunate possibility that The World Race is indeed cancelled prior to launch, I want to assure everyone that Adventures in Missions has promised to give refunds on donations. They have also been continually releasing updates regarding The World Race and COVID-19. Here’s the link:

Stay home and stay strong everyone. Draw close to God and those you love, and keep praying for our world.
Thanks for Reading, and God Bless!
Nathan
