To many bugs!!

You may be questioning the title of my blog, well is guys experienced so many bugs at La Montaña with bug bites all up our legs. Then we found out when we were heading home that more than half of the girls had a stomach bug that was apparently really bad and consisted of a bad case of the runs and puking. Really glad I was not here during all of that. Also we found out most of the girls had lice. So in a week in Costa Rica, we experienced so many different kinds of bugs. Everyone is on the road from feeling better and getting all the bugs out of their hair.

Any ways, I wanted to do a spiritual update so you guys can see how i am doing. I general i am healthy and i am enjoying my time in Costa Rica doig this amazing work that God has for me. Recently God has shown me patience and forgiveness. I also have been coming to the Lord about what it means to worship. Which this has been a fun roller coaster of me being confused on why certain aspects of a worship that Americans have defined what worship is. There are multiple ways to worship and so this is what i was coming to the lord about. I was ywhy do people only put their hands up during the hype part of the song. Why do people argue on what song is going to play? Why do we listen to the same songs over and over? Why do we practice only singing in our churches or as a group? What are other ways we can worship a god so big? So these are some of the questions i have been wondering about. God has directed me to Psalms to learn how to worship as well and just conversations with the lord and asking on how to worship. So i found that music is awesome but is not my number one way to worship, i found that being active and serving, i see Christ the most.

I am learning patience within my team as it is a team full of leaders and all who have amazing ideas and they all need to be heard. I am learning patience in how to take everyone’s opinions and be able to combine them all to make everyone happy with a plan.

I have been truly enjoying every moment of serving from once i wake up in the morning to the time i go to bed. I am loving seeing the smiles of my squad and of the our garden bosses and of our kids. It has been truly amazing and loving everything and everyone.

I am only $4000 away from being fully funded to be able to continue to do this work for the next 7 months! All the funds have to be in by December. Much love goes to everyone. Thank you!
