Here I Sit.
Here I sit faced with fear, temptation, and hatred.
Here I sit in the world of brokeness.
Here I sit where people care more about material items than relationships.
Here I sit with not knowing my future.
Here I sit.
But,
Here I sit faced with God glory, forgiveness, and eternal love.
Here I sit in a gift from God,
Where the stars shine bright;
And where mountains are able to be moved.
Here I sit reaching out to a God that is my father.
Here I sit with my guide.
Here I sit under the stars in Gods arms.
Here I sit.
One summer night, I was looking up at the Colorado stars and the beauty of Jesus shined and words came to me so I formed them into a poem.
The picture above is my dad after a cross country race giving me motivation to keep my head up as I was injured and I was putting my self down. Jesus does this a lot, he puts his arm around you and he says “Everything will be okay.”
So Here I sit, now I get to see where God wants my next steps to be either college or the World Race. But I need your help to send me on the World Race. I thank everyone so far for their generous donations.
