The past month and a half has been rather a blur. Cambodia has been very challenging in many ways. Physically, it’s hotter than I thought a place could ever be; spiritually, it’s heavy and dark, and ministry has been a pretty big handful. To say the least, life’s been interesting these last several weeks. But you want to know the incredible thing about all that?  It’s that God is working and there is still joy to be found in every single moment. It’s crazy: almost everyday it seems like I go to bed with a different perspective than I had when I woke up.  Because as hard as this season has been I’ve seen God do some incredible things, and this season has been one of immense growth personally and for our squad as a whole.  See it’s the uncomfortable times and places in our lives where God gives us the opportunity to jump into those troubles with joy and enthusiasm. Because as it says in James 1:3-4a,  “When your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow, so let it grow…”  So I can truly say that’s what my life has been like these past weeks and well, it’s a time I won’t ever forget because it’s been a season of God molding me into the man he created me to be. God is so good and having the opportunity to chase after Him with everything I have is such a humbling experience. God really is living and He really is moving everywhere all the time, including Cambodia.
