I have finally arrived in Costa Rica, and let me tell y’all that this place is absolutely beautiful. Our base is located in a position where its’s facing the mountains and it is just an amazing sight. The weather is just about what you would think it would be like in Costa Rica, pretty much perfect. As I’m sitting here looking at the beautiful scenery that is now home for the next three months, I’m reminded of Philippians 1:23 where Paul talks about how he would rather be in Heaven dwelling with The Lord which would be far better for him, but he knows that God still has plans for him on earth. Although Costa Rica is a wonderful place, it is not the place that God promised us a life with him for eternity. However it is the place God has called me to spread his good news. So that is what I’m going to do, because that is what God has called me to do now. Because just as it says it Acts 20:24 “my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus, the work of telling others the good new about the wonderful grace of God.” Then one day myself, and many others that God will use me to reach, will be a part of God’s children who are destined for a life as resurrected beings on a resurrected earth.
