Our favorite month yet…

Our month in Nicaragua really started coming back from debrief in Granada…

Note to self: Sweet buses do not equal comfortable rides. I was in the back stairwell which meant that every-time the door opened I was crushed—pretty hilarious…in retrospect.

We worked with the orphanage CICRIN for the month.

We hoed…I broke four over the course of the month. Woops.

We painted a water tower. Twice. The paint doesn’t stick very well because they like to keep it very thin. To each his own…

We did some other meaningful, menial tasks…You learn a lot about where your heart is with those…

We spoke in front of churches…

We played lots of games with the kids…miss hanging out with them.

And Johnny did a lot of it with a wicked ‘stache…can’t not include the ‘stache…

We also spent some time away from ministry…

The boys went for a little hike up Conception…

                                              Some serious climbing…

Feeling good on the way up…will only speak for myself on that one.

Up in the clouds…over the edge was a huge drop to the volcano (guide told us not to go up there, so naturally, we did).

The view was beautiful on the way down.

And still smiling.

Though not so good on the knees…

Hello monkeys…two species on the island.

We’re writing a good story…Thanks for following me on it.
