Like I said, think our team has some kind of mountain blessing…

On the way to the mountains with Pastor Sebastian…2.5 hours away from where we stayed for the month.

We hiked to other little communities to visit families.

We went down a pretty steep hill to reach a waterfall.

                                                               It’s a long way down.

                                                                That’s for you, Ryan.

One of the local pastor, Evaristo, proudly showed us an opal mine. He is truly living on faith with that one…

The view from the opal mines…take it in…it always goes down smooth.

Still working on being a bit more artistic (album cover, Johnny?)…at least this shows how dark it was at every meal, even during the day. Need some tips from you, Sarah.

I wish I could really show you how big this thing is…would not want to be the one moving that to a different resting spot. But I would want to be around for the party of honey-glazed ham…

Now this is what I call a house church…one man came from 3.5 hours away on a bike to hear the message.

Glad it was delivered by this man: Pastor Sebastian. He will be a friend for a long time to come.

Johnny and I also got to visit some “caves” about an hour away…our Pastor friend, Alejandro, bushwacked using a machete to get us there.

We saw this on the way…still not sure what that/they/it was…

But despite many bug bites, and slides…

It was worth it—the next team needs to stay there for the night and cook a fire…LTD.

"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step out onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing you you might be swept off to." – J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings

Well, Mr. Tolkien, I think I consider myself sufficiently swept off…
